Decision 2008: Will America's Mayor make a run to become America's President?

Will he run? It looks like he is thinking about it?

Today Former New York City Mayor Rudolph (Rudy) Giuliani filed papers to form a presidential campaign exploratory committee in 2008. His has made the first step towards making a run for the White House in 2008. His chief rival for the GOP nomination, U.S. Senator John McCain will also start his exploratory committee this week and will make a official announcement after Christmas towards the early part of next year. The two our the leading contenders for the Republican Nomination for President in 2008 thus far. Giuliani might have to switch his liberal views if he wants to win in 2008. Giuliani currently his pro-choice and against the death penalty. Mr. Giuliani might have to switch to pro-life like most Republicans. This might not happen with Giuliani wanting to keep his straight forwardness and stick with his views. Mr. McCain has apparently better numbers nationwide againist Democratic frontrunners then Giuliani, however Giuliani clearly has advantage among the GOP in recent polling over John McCain. If Giuliani runs it will probably a fight to the convention in the Summer of 2008 to see who will represent the GOP in November. If Giuliani doesn't run look for McCain to have a clean sweep to the White House.
