Decision 2008: Presidential Power Rankings Week #14

Here are this weeks rankings. sorry this is so late. I will continue my Candidate of the Week section next week.

Republicans

1st: Rudolph Giuliani (rising) Giuliani's lead has grown to the double digits in most polls, but Giuliani's lead could be upset when he loses key states, because he is still in a dead heat in most states. I will say Giuliani has a good fundraising base.

2nd: John McCain (steady) McCain's support nationwide is falling apart, but His lead has grown in NH and SC. Giuliani's lead remains strong in Iowa, but isn't rising there. McCain could easily catch up when his campaign gets in full swing.

3rd: Mitt Romney (rising) Romney remains strong in polls and is gaining. He has officially pasted Gingrich in most polls and is in the double digits in NH. His fundraising base is impressive as well.

4th: Newt Gingrich (falling) gingrich is majorally falling, becuase many don't think he will even run.

5th: Mike Huckabee (rising) Huckabee, is in our opinion, the strongest darkhorse candidate. Being Governor gives him mor eleadership skills that that of Hagel and Brownback. He could easily jumpinto the top 3 if Gingrich doesn't run.

Democrats

1st: Hillary Clinton (falling) Hillary's lead is diminishing. About 2 weeks ago Hillary had a 30 point lead not it is only 10! Rasmussen has Obama only 8 points behind. It is still hers to lose, and she is doing a great job at losing it.

2nd: Barack Obama (rising) Obama is now only a few points behind Hillary and is moving up fast. His rockstar appearence and Hillary's attacks have helped him gain in strength.

3rd: John Edwards (steady) Edwards's numbers in IA and SC remain strong so he is still a strong competitor. I wouldn't count him out yet.

4th: Bill Richardson (falling) Richardson's campaign appears so far to be a lost cause. He isn't going up or down in polls. Richardson shouldn't be counted out yet though.

5th: Joe Biden (falling) Polls out of Delaware show Biden in 3rd! If you cant be a favorite son in your homestate you shouldn't even try.
