Decision 2008: I'm Back!!!!! Here are your Presidential Power Rankings week #28.

Hope you all had a great 4th of July!!!!!!!!!!!!

Republicans

1st Tied: Fred Thompson (rising) Thompson is gaining state after state in the south and he is tied with McCain in the delegate count according to polls as of right now. He is now close to a lead nationally and is set to announce soon.

1st Tied: Mitt Romney (rising) Romney and Thompson are closing in on Hillary in general election match-ups, and Mitt still holds Iowa and NH under his belt.

3rd: Rudy Giuliani (steady) National Lead remains strong and won in fundraising this time around. Rudy's campaign is alive and well.

4th: John McCain (steady) McCain did fall behind in fundraising, however he raisied more money than many expected. Polls are slowing turning around for McCain in early states as well.

5th: Newt Gingrich (steady) His numbers are falling and his late announcement will certainly hurt his chances.

Democrats

1st: Hillary Clinton (rising) Clinton has certainly gained back the title she use to hold as persumptive nominee. She currently holds a 20+ point lead nationally and is gaining back all early states.

2nd: Barack Obama (steady) Record fundraising totals to give Obama a jolt, but as Edwards put it Money doesn't count its the voters that count and in that area he isn't doing so well.

3rd: John Edwards (falling) Poor fundraising totals this time around. His lead in Iowa has slipped as well.

4th: Bill Richardson (rising) His polls are going nowhere but up surprisingly in Iowa and NH. Could he come back and get into the 1st tier?

5th: Joe Biden (falling) Biden really has started to fall apart. His campaign remains dead and isn't getting a spark. I think after January of next year he will drop out and run for re-election to the U.S. Senate.
