Last week on Letterman Politics-Central's endorsed candidate, Arizona U.S. Senator John McCain announced on "The Late Show with David Letterman" that he will run for president in 2008! McCain enters the race near the top og GOP contenders and could very well become our next president. He is set to formally announce in April. So far McCain's only serious challengers are Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney. We well learn soon how this closely contested GOP race will turn out.
